Saturday, as usual i had to wake up bright and early like any other school day except this was for band practise so it wasnt really that horrible. Arrived like 30 mins early and spent most my time reading Harry Potter as i waited for the band room(by the way its freaking messy and dirty now...tsktsk....) I suddenly had this strange inclination to read harry potter non-stop. My goal initially was to actually read it slowly so as to savour it(being the last book and all) but it has been quite a good read. I just hates the way JK.Rowling writes some parts......there's alot of Harry Potter's inner conflicts and there is a whole load of rhetorical questions everywhere which i find particularly corny and annoying. Urgh but other than that it has been quite interesting.I have forgotten most of the small little details from the previous books that have been mentioned in the latest one. Went for dinner today at some indonesian restaurant....the food was surprisingly sumptuous but me reading Harry Potter in the car had made me too giddy to enjoy the food. I should probably stop reading it....and most probably some of you reading this are mocking me cause of the fact that i haven't finished the book. But i am not retarded enough to read it in 4 hrs....thats just dumb(i would have offended a lot of potter fans out there). Chillax man, it's the last book you can afford to read it slowly.
I should probably start reading my great expectations again. Frankly(at the cost of me sounding rather noobish and uneducated), great expectations has been quite a bore. Oh don't kill me Mr Haris....but it sure beats econs anytime. Econs is just pointless(yet again i have managed to offend loads of people). But seriously lit is just so interesting don't you think. Wilfred Owen's poems are what i go to school for man! They are amazing! My favourites are Mental Cases, Dulce and Anthem. Coming to VJC and taking Lit has made me feel excessively inadequate in my command of the english language. SS and Geog E have so destroyed the way i write. I write so stolidly now its annoying even myself. Seriously i tend to overuse conjuctions.It's especially annoying when writing lit essays cause i can really put what is in my brain in words. Unfortunately for me, i do not possess that natural flare...maybe i will get it soon...real soon i hope before i start failing my freaking PROMOS. Sad....
