Wohooo tomorrow is national day!lol whatever....apparently the SS textbook has failed to brainwash me into being strongly patriotic to Singapore. Maybe i am slightly, hahaha considering it is the place i was born in. But whatever, i ain't that crazy about going to the National Day Parade. I think most of us Kiasu singaporeans just want to go there to get the freebies lor....tsk tsk....it is so unfortunate that todays society has to be lured and enticed by such materialistic things to inculcate patriotism and whatever stuff. Of course i am making an overgeneralisation here but i am sure most of you would so agree with me. Hahaha it's an unspoken truth lor....ook whatever...but being KIASU is what we are...we are unique(omg...i feel so pro-singapore now). I think i am beginning to be so anti-establishment fuelled by teenage angst. Oh what rubbish am i spouting!
Listening to Michelle Branch now....first album....spirit room....its nice eh....i wonder what is happening to her right now. Her second album was kinda crappy though...but love the first. Kinda like Avril Lavigne, her first album was freaking rocking! i liked every track...then the second album came and like.....quite disappointing...then the 3rd album...OH THE HORROR! Some songs are nice though like when you're gone but certainly not as nice as the first album! The first album was super nice.....still trying to find something nice to listen to. Somehow i have this abhorrence to male singers...i dunno why...male vocals don't really appeal to me unless the tone is really nice and unique....no corny Nick Lachey....bring in the Fray and some Josh Groban please! I love the Fray...super nice..actually i only like 3 songs hahaha! Over my Head, How to save a life and All at once....the rest are kinda weird but those 3 songs are damn nice. Anyone! give me some suggestion of good music to listen to!
